Jeff Perkins

I work for Boeing; designing course ware, authoring tech data, and teaching the 787 and 737 airplane.

Before 2006, I worked for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. I was the Communications/Electronics Tech on R/V Knorr and R/V Atlantis. (This was my dream job, it didn't get any better than this.)

Prior to WHOI I did a couple years as a test engineer and development lab manager for a high tech start up company called Airbiquity on Bainbridge Island.

Before Airbiquity I worked for Boeing on the 737 NG program as an Instructor/Developer.

From December 1975 to my retirement in May 1998 I served in the US Air Force. I spent my whole career doing something related to electronics on airplanes. Thanks to Floyd Fulton and Dick Scoble. (RIP Mr Fulton, I think you would be happy with how I turned out.)

No other way to put it, if it hadn't been for those three years of electronics at YCHS, I would not be where I am today.
