A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, April 27, 2014, 3:00 pm at the SYO Building on the corner of Butte House Rd. and Acacia Ave. in Sutter for Ronda P. Upton, 57, of Sutter, CA. She passed away April 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by family.
Ronda was born on January 7, 1957 in Yuba City, CA, to Harry and Marjie Johner.
Ronda was a long time resident of Sutter, CA, having worked as a dental assistant for 20 years, then getting her counseling degree at Capital Christian Center and worked at the Twin Rivers Crisis Center in Yuba City for a couple of years. She was a Yuba City High Graduate, Class of "75". She enjoyed scrapbooking, camping and taking trips to the coast. She was known to her grandchildren as "Mimi". She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Kristopher Upton.
Ronda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Cecil E. Upton; a son Jeff Upton; one sister, Betty Kinckle of Olivehurst CA; grandchildren: Tyler, Kaygen, Ashlynne, Ethan; numerous cousins; nieces & nephews.
Pastor Mark Holiday of Rocklin, CA, will be officiating the Memorial.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley Block Funeral Chapel.
