Patrick Jauron

Patrick Jauron

I received notification of Patrick's passing at the sending of  our 45 reunion notification on 7/28/21. (Alicia)

The following comment was sent to me by his friend & co-worker Amanda Whorton at KJ Moving & Storage where Patrick worked at for several years. The only article written as to Patrick's passing is below her comment to me.

"We never got to have a celebration of life thanks to damn Covid however here is the link to the newspaper article.

Bottom line, he had a heart attack while driving to work one morning. We had just come back from camping so he was pulling the trailer behind him. We figure he passed out from the heart attack, veered off the road and thankfully did not hurt anyone else. When it became about 9-10am and he wasn't here yet I started looking for him when I came across a death on the CHP website. Boy that was fun when the coroner came to inform his girlfriend. She was like thanks, we already know.

Thanks for your help, he was a good friend. Please share with your classmates."

A 62-year-old Sonoma man died early Wednesday when the truck he was driving left the road and crashed off Napa Road east of Sonoma.

The man, identified by the Sonoma County Coroner’s Office as Patrick Jauron, was towing a 2019 HTLN Elkridge fifth wheel trailer in his 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 truck when the trailer ran off Napa Road near Burndale Road at 5:15 a.m.

It wasn’t known yet how fast the truck was traveling, CHP Officer Marc Renspurger said.

The truck went off the roadway and traveled through several properties before coming to rest, Renspurger said.

Emergency medical personnel treated Jauron but he died at the scene.

“There is the possibility this collision was caused by a medical condition,” Renspurger said. “We won’t know for certain until an autopsy is performed.”

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. We used to live by his family when Johnson Drive was around in the 60s in Yuba City. All kids in the circle hung out together...including Pat.
