Comments:
I've lived in San Francisco since 1996 (from Laguna Beach in Orange County, where I lived for 2 years).
I lived in Paris when I was a teenager (moving there on June 1st, 1974 (which was the day after I graduated from Yuba City High School as a Junior that year).
Since 1974 I've been back to Europe about 15 times. I've also travelled the world since 1974.
I've visited Russia (Moscow, St Petersburg), Ukraine (Kiev), Mideast (Israel, Jordan), Southeast Asia (Bangkok), Indonesia (the amazing island of Bali), Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore....both twice).
I've been to the South Pacific (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Fiji). While in Tahiti in 1983, I bumped into Mel Glibson & Anthony Hopkins, while they were filming the remake of "Mutiny On The Bounty".
I went to Australia in 2004 (Sydney, Melbourne, the Great Barrier Reef, Blue Mountains). Also on that trip I went to New Zealand (Auckland in the North Island and the Alps and fjords in the South Island...Queenstown, The Remarkables Mountains & Milford Sound),
I've been to the Carribean often over the years(Bahamas, the Caymans, Aruba, Curacao, Puerto Rico). I've also visited Mexico numerous times (Mexico City, Pueblo, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas).
I went to Hawaii (Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island). During the 15 times I went to Europe I visited the countries of Spain, England, France, Italy, Finland, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland & Scotland, I've also visited Eastern Europe (I went to Estonia & to the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic).
I've also been to South America 5 times. In 1982 I went to Peru (where I visited Lima, Cuzco and Machu Picchu). In 1990 I went to Venezuela (Caracas & Valencia). In 1999 I went to Uruguay (Montevideo, Punta De Este and Colonia) & the country of Paraguay.
I've also visited Brazil 3 times (where I visited Rio de Janeiro twice, Sao Paulo and Iguassu Falls both once). And I've been to Argentina (where I visited the AWESOME city of Buenos Aires twice).
In Nov 2007 I went on a 3-week safari-trip in southern Africa, where I visited 6 countries, including Botswana (Chobe River), Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), Swaziland (Zulu Nation) and South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Sun City and Krueger Park).
In April/May 2010 I went on a 2-week trip to Egypt. I spent 3 nites at the Cairo Marriott on the Nile River. I went to Giza (where the Pyramids are). Then I went to Valley of the Kings (where King Tut's tomb is). Then I went Luxor (where the famds Pharaoh temples of Luxor & Karnak are). I then spent 3 nites at a very posh Red Sea resort. Then I did a 4-nite Nile River cruise. I then went to Abu Simbel (near the Aswan Dam & 20-miles from the border of the country of Sudan).
In mid-Jan 2011 I'm flying to Paris for a long weekend. Then in Oct 2011 I'm going to India & Nepal.
