Librado S. Saldivar

Librado Solis Saldivar, 49, of Elk Grove died on June 21, 2006, at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento.

Born in Mexico, he was a former Yuba-Sutter resident before living in Sacramento County for 22 years.

He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Teichert Construction and was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 3, Sacramento.

He attended Yuba City High School and graduated early as a Junior in 1975.

He attended St. Joseph Catholic Chruch in Elk Grove.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years Juanita Saldivar of ELk Grov;, two sons, Eric Saldivar and Michael Saldivar, both of Elk Grove; his father, Artemio Saldivar of Yuba City; three brothers, Artemio Saldivar JR. and Eloy Saldivar, both of Yuba City, and Omar Saldivar of Sacramento; two sisters, Maricela Quiias and Olga Saldivar both of Yuba City and a grandson.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Soledad Saldivar.

Services: A rosary will be recited at 7PM Wednesday, June 28th, 2006, preceded by visitation starting at 6PM at Ullery Memorial Chapel in Yuba City. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, June 29th, 2006 at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, with Rev. Ben Raze officiating. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery.
